Corporate downsizing has its advantages. It is what has brought me to where I am today. It gave me the push I needed to pursue a life-long family dream of operating a family bakery . It was a vision we as a family toyed with from time to time. I guess I am the most adventerous so I decided to take a leap of faith and make it happen for us, and let me just say I am still somewhat solo. Since 1994 Echols Gourmet Wholesale Desserts has been one of Syracuse, NY's best kept secrets. In the past we have made homemade desserts of many sorts from scratch for local food establishments; restaurants, delis' and the likes. Realizing that as a small establishment I was spreading myself too thin, I decided to narrow down my offerings and pursue what I felt was my biggest sellers. My gourmet caramel corn has won hands-down. Pandora is now out of the box. My caramel corn has taken a route all to itself and it is now the talk of the town.
Once you taste the buttery/sweet kernels you will realize that you have been missing the true essence of what this treat is all about- you've never had anything like this & you cannot eat just one. I say this proudly not boastingly because this is the consensus of those that have the good-fortune to try a bag. My utlimate goal is to make EVERYONE a believer, to make this the treat of your choice, not only in upstate NY but as far-reaching as possible.
